This card has been created using the new die collection from Creative Crafting World called ‘Steampunk Romance’.
This collection will be on Create and Craft, Monday the 13th at 8am.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
7″ by 10″ White Card
The Paper Boutique Steampunk Romance – Romance Embellishment Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Steampunk Romance – Sentiment Volume XIV
The Paper Boutique Steampunk Romance – Insert Collection
The Paper Boutique Steampunk Romance – Embellishment Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Steampunk Romance – Coloured Card Collection
White Card
Chocolate Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Cut a piece from chocolate card measuring 17.3 cms by 25 cms.
Using an insert with the bird, clock and cogs on, cut to measure 16.8 cms by 24.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Next cut a piece from chocolate card measuring 16.8 cms by 3.5 cms.
Choose a border from the embellishment paper pad and cut to 16.8 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the right of the card base.
Fussy cut the flower border from the piece of insert that was cut off.
Attach to the top of the card base using double the foam pads to add depth.
Using another of the same insert, fussy cut out the clock and bird.
Attach to the card base using foam pads over lapping the same image.
Next cut out two feathers using the large feather from the embellishment die collection.
Cut two matt layers out in white card.
Then cut two feathers out in two different colour cards from the coloured card collection.
Matt and layer together.
When cutting the feather die a small piece is also cut from the centre, add this piece to the opposite feather.
Attach each feather to the card base over lapping the border layer on the right.
Using a sentiment from the sentiment collection, cut the matt layer out in chocolate card.
Then cut the sentiment out in white card.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the card base at the bottom of the feather die cuts.
