Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #592.
The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of A Stenciled Background.
You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Heather Valentin – Colour Of Love.
I have used one of their images called Blossom Dreamer.
You Will Need:
6″ x 6″ White Card Base
Heather Valentin – Colour Of Love Digital Image – Blossom Dreamer
Promarker Pens
Funky Fossil Stencil – Forest Foliage
Sentiment Stamp
Black Ink Pad
2 x Green Ink Pads
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Print and Prepare the Digital Images:
Print the digital image onto white card.
Create Layer One:
Place the stencil evenly over the card base, and use green ink pads to apply some of the design details directly onto the card.
Next, use the sentiment stamp to add your chosen message.
Create Layer Two – Colour the Digital Image:
Use Promarker pens to colour the digital images.
Here are the colours I used:
Hair / Skin : Sandstone, praline, terracotta, dusky pink, ivory, baby pink.
Clothes / Wings : Baby pink, antique pink, shale, slate, warm grey 4, 5, pastel beige, blue pearl.
Flowers : Pear green, herb green, sunflower, pumpkin, chestnut, burnt sienna.
Cut around the image leaving a small white border.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.
Final Touches:
Finish by adding an insert inside the card base so you can write a personal message.
