Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Monthly Challenge Blog.

The theme for the challenge is Anything Goes.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Summer Blooms.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card Base
Ching-Chou Kuik‘s Digital Stamp Called Summer Blooms
Promarkers
The Paper Boutique Moon Light Song – Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique Moon Light Song – Paper Kit
The Paper Boutique Moon Light Song – Insert Collection
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Summer Blooms on to white card.
Choose three coloured cards, two patterned papers, two small sentiments and one insert.

Layer one:
Cut a square from the first coloured card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from the second coloured card measuring 19.5 cms by 7.5 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 19.5 cms by 7 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 19.5 cms by 6.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads, on the left.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Summer Blooms, I used promarkers.

Skin / Makeup: Dusky pink, satin, blush, champagne, burnt sienna, spice, powder blue, antique pink.
Hair: Cocoa, burnt sienna, spice.
Hat: Honeycomb, bright orange, mango.
Butterfly: Carmine, antique pink, fuchsia pink.
Flowers / Leaves: Storm cloud, cadet blue, cornflower, azure, pine, emerald, gold, canary, plum, orchid, olive green, pear green, grass, leaf green, lime green.

Cut the image to measure 17 cms by 14 cms.
Cut a piece from the third coloured card measuring 17.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Cut two matt layers from one of the coloured cards for the small sentiments.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
