Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog #286
The theme for this challenge is A Christmas Sentiment.
You can make any type of project such as a card, tag, scrapbook layout, pocket letter, box etc.
The theme must be follow and a sentiment included.

I have used one of their digital images called Chibi Open Gift.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

The Paper Boutique Christmas Magic – Embellishment Pad
White Card
Black Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Print the digital image on to white card twice.
Choose three papers from the paper pad, two embellishment toppers and one sentiment.
Next cut one of the 6″ by 6″ card bases in half.
Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the main card base.
Layer two:
Cut a square from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a square from the second paper measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to one of the half card bases.
Layer three:
Cut a square from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a square from the third paper measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the second of the half card bases.
Layer four:
To make the star card shape, lay layer one on to a flat surface as if it is a diamond shape.
Making sure that the card base opens on the right.
Then attach layer two at the normal angle.
Next turn the layers so that two points are at the bottom and level.
Attach layer three at the normal angle.
Layer five:
Cut a square from black card measuring 11 cms by 11 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 10.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer six:
Colour in the digi image Chibi Open Gift, I used Promarkers.
Colour in the girl on one of the images and the present on the other then decoupage them using foam pads.
Hair: Umber, raw sienna, tan.
Bow: Crimson, hot pink, cardinal red.
Skin: Dusky pink, blush, baby pink.
Clothes: Carmine, cerise, rose pink, warm grey 5,3,2.
Present: Midnight blue, azure, arctic blue.
Cut around the digital image, leaving a small white border.
Attach to the card base on the left using foam pads.
Layer seven:
Fussy cut out a pair of ice skates and a present.
Attach to the card base, using foam pads on the ice skates.
Next add a sentiment to the card base using foam pads.
