Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog #299.

The theme for this challenge is Anything St. Patrick’s or Rainbows + A Sentiment.

You can make any type of project such as a card, tag, scrapbook layout, pocket letter, box etc.
The theme must be followed and a sentiment included.

For my card I decided to use a Rainbow.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

A5 White Card Base
The Paper Boutique Fancy Flutters – Perfect Medley Pad
The Paper Boutique Fancy Flutters – Perfect Solids Pad
The Paper Boutique Fancy Flutters – Perfect Embellishment Pad
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

You will need two plain papers, two patterned papers, one square topper, two small toppers and one sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from the first coloured paper measuring 14 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a piece from the first patterned paper measuring 13.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 11 cms by 14 cms.
Cut a piece from the second coloured paper measuring 10.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the second patterned paper measuring 10 cms by 13 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
Cut a square from white card measuring 9 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a square from the first coloured paper measuring 8.5 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer together along with the square topper.
Attach to layer two.

Layer four:
Using white card, cut a matt for the sentiment.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads, over lapping layers one and two.

Layer five:
Cut the images from the two small toppers.
Then attach to the card base along with two clouds.

Layer six:
Cut a piece from the first coloured paper measuring 14 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 13.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
