Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge.

For my Design Team card I have used one of SheepSki Designs digital images called Purity.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card Base
SheepSki Designs Digital Stamp Called Purity
Promarkers
The Crafty Witches –Twilight Garden Digital Download Collection
White Card
Black Card
Wooden Happy Birthday Sentiment
Circle Dies
Flourish Die
Butterfly Stickers
Pearl Beads
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Purity on to white card.
Then choose and print one patterned paper, one plain paper and a flower sheet.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 19.5 cms by 10 cms.
Cut a piece from the patterned paper measuring 19.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.

Layer three:
Cut a square from black card measuring 13 cms by 13 cms.
Cut a square from the plain paper measuring 12.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base at an angle.

Layer four:
Colour in the digital image Purity, I used promarkers.

Skin / Face: Ivory, almond, putty, red, burgundy, true blue, cobalt blue, burnt umber, terracotta.
Hat: Black, cool grey 4, 5.
Clothes: Orchid, lilac, bluebell, black, cool grey 4, 5, amethyst, purple, aubergine.
Rose: Red, hot pink, burgundy, holly, olive green.

Using a circle die, cut out the digital image.
Then using a slightly larger circle die, cut a circle from black card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer five:
Colour in the wooden happy birthday sentiment using promarkers, purple and aubergine.
Attach to the card base.

Layer six:
Cut a small flower from the flower sheet.
Attach to the card base adding a pearl bead to the centre.
Using the flourish dies, cut one from black card and one from white card.
Attach to the card base, coming from the flower.
Then add a couple of butterflies to the card base.
