Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge #85.

For my Design Team card I have used one of SheepSki Designs digital images called Griff.

The theme for the challenge is Anything Goes. I decided to make a Steam Punk themed card.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

A5 White Card
SheepSki Designs Digital Stamp Called Griff
Promarker Pens
Grunge Papers
White Card
Black Card
Brown Card
Sentiment
Cog Dies
Brown Ink Pad
Glue / Double Sided Tape

Instructions:

Print the digital image Griff on to white card.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 20.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the grunge paper measuring 14 cms by 20 cms.
Using the brown ink pad, edge all the sides of the paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece of white card measuring 7 cms by 20 cms.
Then cut four pieces of grunge paper measuring 6.5 cms by 4.5 cms.
Using the brown ink pad, edge all the sides of the papers.
Attach to the white card leaving a small border in between.
Next attach to the card base at the bottom.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Griff. I used promarker pens.

Burnt orange, burnt umber, burnt sienna, firebrick, crimson, burgundy, cool grey 2, 4, pumpkin, mustard, green, mint green, apple.

Cut around the image leaving a small white border.
Using the brown ink pad on the edges.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Cut a piece of black card measuring 3.5 cms by 7.5 cms.
Using the brown ink pad, edge all the sides of the sentiment.
Matt and layer with the sentiment.
Attach to card base using foam pads.

Layer five:
Using the cog dies, cut a few from brown card.
Attach to the card base around Griff.
Using the feather die, cut a few from brown and black card.
Attach to the card base around the sentiment.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base
