Today’s handmade card was created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #556.
The theme for this challenge was Anything Goes with the option Add A Button.
You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.
Our sponsor for this challenge was CFL Designs.
For my card I have used one of their digital images called Alien No 2.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
8″ By 8″ White Card Base
CFL Designs Called Alien No 2
Promarkers
White Card
Black Card

Coloured String
Button
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Print the digital image Alien No 2 on to white card.
Choose and print two patterned papers.
Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Then cut a square from the first patterned paper measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a square from black card measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 15.5 cms by 15.5 cms.
Cut a square from the second patterned paper measuring 15 cms by 15 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer three:
Colour in the Alien No 2 digital image, I used promarker pens.
Alien 1 – Turquoise, soft green, marine, antique pink, carmine, mustard, pumpkin, black, pesto, lush green, burnt sienna, ivory, champagne.
Alien 2 – True blue, pastel green, duck egg, baby pink, cerise, soft line, primrose, ivory, champagne, berry red, firebrick, midnight blue, storm cloud, terracotta, burnt orange.
Cut around both of the aliens leaving a small white border.
Using foam pads attach to the card base.
Layer four:
Add a sentiment, I made my own sentiment using word.
Cut a black matt layer for each sentiment.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.
Then using a piece of string and the button, attach to the card base so it looks like a balloon.
To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
