Today’s handmade card has been created using a new dvd-rom called Family Portraits – Dogs Volume II from Creative Crafting World. 

This dvd-rom is full of beautiful dog families that have been painted by Pollyanna Pickering and will be on Create and Craft on Saturday the 31st of October.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ by 10″ White Card
Pollyanna Pickering Family Portraits – Dogs Volume II Dvd-Rom
Brown Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

From the dvd-rom select Westies, go to the first page and print off the seventh image sheet. Cut out the bottom left image and one of the small right images.
Next go to the fourth page and print off a patterned paper.
Go to the sixth page and print off a sentiment sheet and the first insert sheet.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from brown card measuring 17 cms by 24.5 cms.
Cut the insert to measuring 16.5 cms by 24 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from brown card measuring 17 cms by 4.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the patterned paper measuring 17 cms by 4 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base at the right side of the insert image using foam pads.

Layer three:
Cut a square from brown card measuring 12 cms by 12 cms.
Matt and layer with the main topper.
Attach to the card base on the right using foam pads, slightly over lapping layer two.

Layer four:
Cut a square from brown card measuring 4.5 cms by 4.5 cms.
Matt and layer with the small topper.
Attach to the card base slightly over lapping all layers.

Layer five:
Cut a piece from brown card measuring 2 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer with a sentiment.
Attach to the card base on the bottom right.
To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
