Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #254 that starts today.
The theme for this challenge is Summer + A Sentiment.
For my card I have used a digi image from Dr. Digi,s House Of Stamps called Summer Holiday.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
7″ By 10″ White Card
Dr. Digi,s House Of Stamps Digi Image Summer Holiday
Chameleon Pens
Debbi Moore Designs – A Pocket Full Of Memories Cd-Rom
White Card
Black Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Choose two papers from the cd-rom.
Layer one:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 24.5 cms by 17 cms.
Cut a piece from the first paper measuring 24 cms by 16.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a square from black card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from the second paper measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Cut each in half from corner to corner.
Matt and layer one of each half together and attach to the card base on the bottom right using foam pads.
Layer three:
Colour in the digi image Summer Holiday using chameleon pens.
Camper Van: BG1, BR5, BR1, NG4, CG5, NU0, BK4.
Man: BL4, NU00, NG4.
Suitcases: BL6, NU3, NU4, CG8, BK4, BG3.
Cut a piece from black card measuring 17.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Cut the digi image, measure 17 cms by 12 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.
Layer four:
I made my own sentiment using Word on the computer.
Then matt and layered using black card.

Beautifully coloured Lisa. Just as I opened up your blog the rain started to hammer down. I can’t say I am sorry because it has been unbearably hot here in Surrey. A great card and thank you for sharing with us.
Looking at your card, I had to smile, as I am sure there’s going to be a mad rush to get down to the west country in a weeks time, not that you would want to be here today as would have been Glastonbury this weekend and it always rains when the festival is on, so I know my garden will be watered
