Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #251 that starts today.

The theme for this challenge is  Anything Goes + Sentiment.

For my card I have used a digi image from Sheepski Designs called Duplicity and made a Halloween card.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card
Sheepski Designs called Duplicity
Promarker Pens
The Paper Boutique Wickedly Wonderful – Insert Collection
The Paper Boutique Wickedly Wonderful – Paper Collection
The Paper Boutique Wickedly Wonderful Collection – Sentiments Volume IX Die Collection
Black Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

You will need two of the same flower papers and one insert with the image of a snake and tree.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a piece from the first paper measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Colour in the digi image Duplicity , I have used promarkers.

Skull: Ice grey 1, ice grey 3, ice grey 5, cool grey 1, cool grey 2, cool grey 5.
Butterflies: Crimson, berry red, lipstick red, poppy, red, ruby, black, cool grey 3, cool grey 5.
Rose: Mustard, sunflower, yellow, olive green, khaki.

Cut a square from black card measuring 10.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Cut the digi image to measure 10 cms by 10 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.

Layer three:
From the second paper cut out the flower images.
Attach the card base on the same image using foam pads.

Layer four:
From the insert cut out the tree and snake image.
Attach to the card base on the right using foam pads.

Layer five:
Using one of the sentiments, cut the mat die from black card.
Cut the sentiment from white card and colouring in with the crimson promarker.
Matt and layer together and attach to the bottom of layer four.
