I needed a card for my son’s birthday so I purchased a digi image from Bugaboo Stamps called Video Game Guy
After I had coloured the digi image in with promarkers I then needed to find matching papers.
I hadn’t quite finished clearing away some papers from Pollyanna Pickering Family Portraits Dogs dvd-rom and noticed that some of the papers were a perfect match for the digi image.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
8″ by 8″ White Card
Bugaboo Digi Stamp – Video Game Guy
Creative Crafting World – Pollyanna Pickering Family Portrait Dogs Dvd-Rom
Promarkers
Small Circle Die
Number Dies
White Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
First print and colour in the Video Game Guy digi image using promarkers.
The promarkers used were :

When finished cut the digi image to measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
From the dvd-rom print off two plain papers, two patterned papers, a sentiment sheet and one image sheet with a small circle topper.
Cut a square from one of the plain papers measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from one of the patterned papers measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.

Next cut a piece from white card measuring 20 cms by 8.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the same plain paper measuring 20 cms by 8 cms.
Cut a piece from the second patterned paper measuring 20 cms by 7.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the left side of the card base.
From white card cut a square measuring 15 cms by 15 cms.
Then from the second plain paper cut a square measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and then add the digi topper using foam pads.
Attach to the card base using foam pads over lapping the last layer.
Using the small circle die cut a circle using the first plain paper.
Cut out a small circle topper from the image sheet.
Matt and layer together using foam pads and attach to the left corner of the topper using foam pads.
Cut out a sentiment from the sentiment sheet and attach to the top right of the topper.
To finish the front of the card cut the right age out using the number dies and one of the plain papers.
Attach to the top left of the topper.
For the inside of the card cut a square from the second paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 17 cms by 17 cms.
