Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #529.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Go Dotty.

You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Flowering Fern Flower Pot Pretties.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card Base
Colour Of Love Digital Stamp Called Flowering Fern Flower Pot Pretties
The Paper Boutique Filigree Fancy – Sentiments Volume XX
Promarkers
Spotty Paper
White Card
Black Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Flowering Fern Flower Pot Pretties on to white card.
Then choose three patterned papers.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a square from black card measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
Cut a square from the second paper measuring 13.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Cut both in half from corner to corner.
Matt and layer one of each together and attach to the bottom left corner of the card base.

Layer three:
Cut a square from black card measuring 12 cms by 12 cms.
Cut a square from the third paper measuring 11.5 cms by 11.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Colour in the digital image Flowering Fern Flower Pot Pretties, I used promarkers.

Skin / Face: Pastel pink, ivory, almond, berry red, salmon pink.
Hair: Burnt Sienna, raw sienna.
Ribbon: Berry red, burgundy.
Basket: Berry red, firebrick, cardinal red, metallic red gold, metallic silver.
Flowers / Leaves: Fuchsia pink, mulberry, pumpkin, apricot, orange, sunflower, holly, emerald, leaf green.
Sky / Grass: Arctic blue, cobalt blue, grass, lush green.

Cut the image to measure 12 cms by 9.5 cms.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer five:
Using a sentiment die, cut the matt die from black card.
Cut the sentiment from the second paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

To finish add the insert to the inside of the card base.
