Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #541.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option Lavender And Lace.

You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Paper Nest Dolls and you can win three images from their shop.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Sewing Fairy Sophie.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card Base
Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp Called Sewing Fairy Sophie
Promarkers
White Card
The Crafty Witches Sew Lovely Digital Download Collection
Lace
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Sewing Fairy Sophie on to white card.
Choose and print two plain papers, two patterned papers and one sentiment sheet.

Layer one:
Cut a square from the first plain paper measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from patterned paper measuring 19 cms by 13 cms.
Matt and layer together with the patterned paper on the left and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a square from the second plain paper measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Cut a square from the first patterned paper measuring 15.5 cms by 15.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and add lace to the top left corner.
Then attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
Colour in the Sewing Fairy Sophie digital image, I used promarker pens.

Skin : Satin, almond, sandstone.
Hair : Caramel, cocoa, burnt sienna.
Wings : Duck egg.
Clothes : Pale pink, blossom, pastel green, turquoise, mustard, gold.
Cotton Reel : Cerise, carmine, lipstick red, chestnut, burnt umber.
Thimble : Cool grey 1, 2, 4.
Pin Cushion : Baby pink, salmon pink, antique pink, apricot, pumpkin, pastel green, turquoise.

Cut a piece from the second plain paper measuring 14 cms by 12 cms.
Cut the image to measure 13.5 cms by 11.5 cms.
Matt and layer together adding lace to the top left corner.
Then attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Cut a sentiment from the sentiment sheet.
Then cut a matt layer from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base
