Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #259 .

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes + A Sentiment.

I have used a digi image from Polkadoodles called Special Time Sparkle Unicorn.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 7″ White Card
Polkadoodles Digi Image – Special Time Sparkle Unicorn
Debbi Moore Designs – Unicorn Dreams Cd Rom
The Paper Boutique Perfect Posies – Aster Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Garden Visitors – Sentiment Volume XVIII Die Collection
Chameleon Pens
Lilac Card
White Card
Lilac Pearls
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digi image twice.
Then from the cd rom print off two papers.

Layer one:
Cut a square from lilac card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 16.5 cms by 6.5 cms.
Cut a piece from lilac card measuring 16.5 cms by 6 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 16.5 cms by 5.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.

Layer three:
On the first digi image Special Time Sparkle Unicorn colour in the unicorn head and the right balloon using chameleon pens and cut out.

Unicorn Head: NG4
Hair: YO3
Horn: VO4, PK5
Flowers: YO2
Balloon: PK5

On the second digi image colour in the body, balloons, present and flower.

Dress: BV2
Balloons: YO3, VO4, BL4
Unicorn Hands/Feet: NG4, NU2
Tail: YO3
Flower: YO2
Present: BL4, BL3

Attach the unicorn head and balloon to the second digi image using foam pads.

Cut a piece from lilac card measuring 12.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer with the second digi image.
Attach to the card base over lapping all layers.

Layer four:
Using a sentiment die, cut the matt die from lilac card.
Cut the sentiment die from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer five:
Using the flourish from the flower die set, cut one from lilac card.
Attach to the card base on the bottom right corner.
Using the flower die set, cut the second flower die from lilac and white card.
Cut the third flower die from white card.
Cut the centre flower die from lilac card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the lilac flourish.
Adding a lilac pearl bead to the centre of the flower.
