Two Ladybugs – With Love

0 3 Comments

Today’s handmade card has been created for inspiration on the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Monthly Challenge Blog.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Two Ladybugs.
This image is a pre-coloured image.

You can find more of Ching-Chou Kuik’s wonderful images here in their Etsy shop, Gjzcck.

Handmade card using a digital image from Ching-Chou Kuik called Two Ladybugs

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 7″ White Card Base
Ching-Chou Kuik‘s Digital Image Called Two Ladybugs.
Circle Dies
White Card
Red Card
The Crafty Witches – Spellbinding Essential Sentiments Volume I
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the pre-coloured digital image Two Ladybugs three times on to white card.
From the sentiment collection print one sentiment sheet.

Circle Easel Card Base:

Lay the largest circle die ( 15.5 cms ) onto the card base, slightly overlapping the centre fold and run through your die cutting machine.

Then once cut fold the front of the card base to the centre.
This will make the easel shape card for this design.

Layer one:
Using the 15.5 cm circle die cut a circle from white card.
Then using the 14.5 circle die, cut a circle from red card.
Next cut one of the images out using the 13.5 cms circle die.
Matt and layer together and attach the front facing half of the card base.

Layer two:
From the last two image sheets, cut out different parts of the image.
Using foam pads decoupage to the card base.

Layer three:
Using the 14.5 circle die, cut a circle from red card.
Using the 10.5 circle die, cut a circle from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the bottom of the card base.

Layer four:
Cut a red matt layer for the sentiment.
Matt and layer together and attach the sentiment to the bottom of the card base, using foam pads.
This will make a stopper for the front fold of the card base.
