Today’s handmade card was created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #553.

The theme for this challenge was Anything Goes with the option Under The Sea.

You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Beauregard and Pickles.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card Base
Heather Valentin – Colour Of Love Called Beauregard and Pickles
Promarkers
White Card
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partners – Ocean Breeze
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partners – Aqua And White Paper Pad
Ink Pads – Lapislazuli, Cyan
White Gel Pen
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Beauregard and Pickles on to white card.
Choose three patterned papers and two plain solid papers.

Layer one:
Cut a square from the first solid paper measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Then cut a square from the first patterned paper measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 19.5 cms by 7 cms.
Cut a piece from the second solid paper measuring 19.5 cms by 6.5 cms.
Then cut a piece from the second patterned paper measuring 19.5 cms by 6 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.

Layer three:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 15.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the third patterned paper measuring 15 cms by 12 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base at a slight angle.

Layer four:
Colour in the Beauregard and Pickles digital image, I used promarker pens and ink for the ocean.

Ocean: Ink pads Lapislazuli, Cyan
Seahorse: Soft green, green, marine, buttercup, sunflower, pumpkin, orange, satin, raw sienna, cocoa, white gel pen.
Frog: Forest green, bright green, cool grey 1, black, ice grey 1, 3.
Seaweed: Mint green, emerald, grass, pine.

Cut a piece of white card measuring 15.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Cut the image to measure 15 cms by 12 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base at a slight angle.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base
