The card tutorial I am sharing today has been created using the new paper collection from Creative Crafting World called Farmyard Friends.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

2 x 8″ by 8″ White Card
The Paper Boutique Farmyard Friends – Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique Farmyard Friends – Paper Kit
The Paper Boutique Farmyard Friends – Embellishment Pad
The Paper Boutique Farmyard Friends – Insert Collection
The Paper Boutique Floral Butterflies – Floral Butterflies Embellishment Die Collection
White Card
Pearl Beads
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose one coloured card, two of the same insert, three papers including two of the same papers, four toppers from the embellishment pads and one sentiment.

Cut a strip measuring 4 cms from one of the card bases.

Layer one:
Cut two squares from coloured card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut the same two papers to measure 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the uncut card base.

Layer two:
Using the 4 cms strip of card fold each end in half.

Next cut four pieces from the third paper measuring 3 cms by 9.5 cms and attach to the 4 cms strip.

Attach this to the inside of the card base, across the centre.

Layer three:
Cut four squares from coloured card measuring 8.5 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer with the four toppers.

Then attach these to the inside of the card base, on the 4 cms strip.

Layer four:
Cut a square from coloured card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from one of the inserts measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Next from the second insert cut out the image and attach to the layer over the top of the same image using foam pads.

Attach to the front of the card base along with the sentiment.

Layer five:
Using the butterfly dies, cut one out in coloured card and attach to the front of the card base.
Then cut two out in white card and attach to the inside of the card base.
Add pearl beads to the butterflies.
