Today’s handmade card has been created for inspiration on the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Monthly Challenge Blog.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Flutter Butterflies.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 7″ White Card Base
Ching-Chou Kuik‘s Digital Stamp Called Flutter Butterflies
Promarkers
The Crafty Witches Bouquet Delight Digital Download Collection
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Flutter Butterflies on to white card.
Choose one patterned paper, one plain paper and one sentiment from the download collection.

Layer one:
Cut a square from plain paper measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from patterned paper measuring 16.5 cms by 10 cms.
Attach to the right side of layer one.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Flutter Butterflies, I used promarkers.

Hair: Warm grey 1, 2, 4.
Skin / Face: Ivory, almond, satin, dusky pink.
Butterflies: Carmine, cerise, baby pink, bluebell, shale, aubergine, plum.
Background: Pastel green, grey green, verdigris, mustard, soft lime.

Cut the image to measure 14 cms by 10 cms.
Cut a piece from plain paper measuring 14.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Cut a piece of white card measuring 3 cms by 7.5 cms.
Matt and layer with the sentiment.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.
Next fussy cut out some of the flowers fro the paper and attach to the bottom of the image.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
