Gingerbread Man Parade – Have A Happy Christmas

Today’s handmade card has been created for inspiration on the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Monthly Challenge Blog.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Gingerbread Man Parade.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card Base
Ching-Chou Kuik‘s Digital Stamp Called Gingerbread Man Parade
Promarker Pens
The Crafty Witches Magical Christmas Digital Download Collection
Snow Flake Dies
White Card
Silver Mirri Card
Glitter Glue
Silver Gems
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image on to white card.
Then print three patterned papers and one sentiment sheet.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from the first patterned paper measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 18.5 cms by 13 cms.
Cut a piece from the second patterned paper measuring 18 cms by 12.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the right.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Gingerbread Man Parade, I used promarker pens.

Skin / Face: Ivory, champagne, dusky pink, oatmeal, caramel, crimson, pastel green.
Hair: Blush, coral, cinnamon.
Dress: Sky blue, cyan, azure.
Candy: Satin, berry red, mango, mandarin, chestnut, orange.
Hats / Scarf: Cardinal red, crimson, burgundy.
Snowman: Cool grey 5, ice grey 1, 3, mandarin.
Gingerbread Man: Black, apricot, raw sienna, saddle brown.

Cut a piece from white card measuring 16.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the third patterned paper measuring 16 cms by 14 cms.
Cut the digital image to measure 15.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Add some silver glitter glue to the digital image.

Layer four:
Using the snow flake dies, cut two from silver mirri card.
Attach to the card base, adding silver gems to the centre.

Layer five:
Cut a matt layer from white card for the sentiment.
Matt and layer with the sentiment and attach to the card base.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
