Mini Miss Valentine – You Are Special

0 2 Comments

Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #540.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option Use A Die.

You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Hetty Clare Art and you can win two images from their shop.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Mini Miss Valentine.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 7″ White Card Base
A4 White Card
Hetty Clare Art Digital Stamp Called Mini Miss Valentine
Promarkers
The Crafty Witches Love Gnomes Digital Download Collection
Heart Dies
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Mini Miss Valentine on to white card.
Choose and print one plain coloured paper, two patterned papers and one sentiment sheet.

Layer one:
Cut a square from the coloured paper measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first patterned paper measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece of white card measuring 15 cms by 17 cms.
Score and fold along the 15 cms edge at 4 cms, 7 cms, 11 cms and 14 cms.
This will leave a 1 cm edge, attach this to the opposite edge forming a square cylinder
Cut a piece from the coloured paper measuring 3.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the first patterned paper measuring 3 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front of the square cylinder.
Then cut two piece from the coloured paper measuring 2.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Attach one to the top and one to the bottom of the square cylinder.
Next attach the square cylinder to the bottom of the main card base.

Layer three:
Cut a piece of white card measuring 19 cms by 12 cms.
Score and fold along the 19 cms edge at 1 cm and 4 cms.
Cut a piece from the coloured paper measuring 13.5 cms by 11.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the second patterned paper measuring 13 cms by 11 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front of the white card.
Then cut a piece from the coloured paper measuring 2.5 cms by 11.5 cms.
Attach to the top of the white card.
Next attach to the main card base and the square cylinder.

Your card should now look like this shape ( with the matts and layers)

Layer four:

Skin/Face : Satin, almond, dusky pink, fuchsia pink.
Hair : Buttercup, mustard, sunflower.
