Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge #77.

For my Design Team card I have used one of SheepSki Designs digital images called Walkies.

The theme for the challenge is Your Favourite Things and mine is to go for a walk.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

A4 White Card
SheepSki Designs Digital Stamp Called Walkies
Promarkers
The Crafty Witches – Fox Friends Digital Download Collection
White Card
The Paper Boutique It’s A Dog’s Life – Walkies Time Beyond Border Die Collection
Fence Die
Butterfly dies
Gold Glitter Glue
Silver Gems
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Walkies on to white card.
Choose two patterned papers and two plain coloured papers.

For the card base, cut the A4 white card to measure 15 cms by 28 cms.
Score at 3.5 cms and 7 cms each side.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from the first coloured paper measuring 14.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the first patterned paper measuring 14 cms by 13 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.

Layer two:
Cut four pieces from the first coloured paper measuring 14.5 cms by 3 cms.
Cut four pieces from the first patterned paper measuring 14 cms by 2.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the sides of the card base..

Layer three:
Using the fence die, cut three from the second coloured paper.
Attach them together and score and fold each end.
Then attach to the inside edges of the card base.

Layer four:
Colour in the digital image Walkies. I used promarker pens.

Gnome : Warm grey 1, 2, 3, raw sienna, burnt sienna, dusky pink, satin, apricot, peach, mango.
Caterpillar : Lush green, pine, grass.
Lead / Collar : Raw sienna, terracotta.

Cut around the image, leaving a small white border.
Attach to the left side of the card base using foam pads.

Layer five:
From the second patterned paper, cut out a few of the flower images.
Attach two the the right side of the card base and two to the inside of the card base.
Add a little gold glitter to the centre of the flowers.

Layer six:
Using the butterfly dies, cut a few from the first coloured paper.
Attach to the card base, adding silver gems to the centres.
Next using the walkies sentiment die, cut the matt die from the second coloured paper.
Cut the sentiment from the first coloured paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

To finish add an insert to the back of the card base.
