Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #442
The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Using More Than One Layer.
You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

I have used one of their digital images called Nautical Mermaid Avery.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

The Paper Pantry USB Volume II – Summer Shores
Kraft Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Choose three papers and one sentiment from the USB.
Layer one:
Cut a square from kraft card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a piece from kraft card measuring 19.5 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 19.5 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.
Layer three:
Cut a piece from kraft card measuring 4 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the third paper measuring 3.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.
Layer four:
Colour in the Nautical Mermaid Avery digital image, I used promarkers.
Skin: Champagne, putty, blush, pastel pink
Hair: Gold, buttercup, vanilla
Mermaid Tail / Top: Marine, turquoise, soft green
Hat: True blue, arctic blue, black, powder blue, tea green
Light House: True blue, arctic blue, sunflower, lemon, black, powder blue, tea green
Rock / Starfish: Raw sienna, praline, sandstone, gold, sunflower
Cut the digital image to measure 14.5 cms by 8.5 cms.
Cut a piece from kraft card measuring 15 cms by 9 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads, slightly over lapping all layers.
Layer four:
Cut a piece of kraft card measuring 4 cms by 6.5 cms.
Matt and layer with the sentiment.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.
Layer five:
Cut out three seahorses from the second paper and attach to the card base using foam pads.
The cut out two flower decorations from the second paper and attach to the corners of the digital image.
To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
