Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #535.
The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of a Circle Card.
You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Dr Digi House Of Stamps and you can win two images.
For my card I have used one of their digital images called Cuddly Critter Elephant.
For my circle card design I made a circle easel card.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
7″ By 7″ White Card Base
Dr Digi House Of Stamps Digital Stamp Called Cuddly Critter Elephant
Promarkers
The Crafty Witches Love Gnomes Digital Download Collection
The Paper Boutique Essential Nesting Dies – Volume 1
White Card
Grey Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Print the digital image Cuddly Critter Elephant onto white card.
Choose and print one coloured paper, one flower paper ( take a snapshot of the paper and print at 200% to get larger flowers ), one envelope paper, one heart balloon topper and two sentiments.
Circle Easel Card Base:
Place the 15.5 cm circle die onto the 7″ by 7″ white card base, slightly overlapping the centre fold and run through your die cutting machine.
Then once cut fold the front of the card base to the centre.
This will make the easel shape card for this design.
Layer one:
Using the 15.5 cm circle die cut a circle from white card.
Then using the 14.5 circle die, cut a circle from the coloured paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to the top fold of the card base.
Layer two:
Colour in the digital image, I used Promarkers.
Elephant : Cocktail pink, baby pink, antique pink, pastel pink, blush, almond, ivory, berry red, ruby, cool grey, 3, 4, 5.
Using the 13.5 cm circle die, cut a circle from grey card.
Then using the 12.5 cm circle die cut the digital image into a circle.
Matt and layer together and attach to layer one using foam pads.
Layer three:
Using the 14.5 circle die, cut a circle from the coloured paper.
Using the 11.5 circle die, cut a circle from grey card.
Next using the 10.5 cm circle die, cut a circle from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the bottom of the card base.
Layer four:
Cut white matts for the sentiments.
Matt and layer together and attach one sentiment to layer two.
Attach the second sentiment to the bottom of the card base, using foam pads.
This will make a stopper for the front fold of the card base.
Layer five:
Cut around the balloon topper and cut a single envelope from the paper.
Attach both to layer two using foam pads.
Layer six:
Cut a few flowers from the flower paper.
Then attach them to the bottom of the card base using foam pads.
