Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog #300.

The theme for this challenge is Embossing (wet or dry) / Flowers + A Sentiment.

You can make any type of project such as a card, tag, scrapbook layout, pocket letter, box etc.
The theme must be followed and a sentiment included.

I decided to use a flower image from SheepSki Designs called Daisy Panel.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

A5 White Card Base
SheepSki Designs Digital Stamp called Daisy Panel
The Crafty Witches – Peony Promises Digital Download Collection
Chameleon Pens
Butterfly Punch
Small Pearl Beads
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

You will need four plain papers, two patterned papers and one sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from the first plain paper measuring 20.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the first patterned paper measuring 20 cms by 14 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from the second plain paper measuring 19 cms by 8 cms.
Cut a piece from the second patterned paper measuring 18.5 cms by 7.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Daisy Panel, I used chameleon pens.

OR4, YO3, BR2, BR5, PK2, PK4, GR2

Cut a piece from the third plain paper measuring 16.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut the digital image to measure 16 cms by 9 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.
Then cut three small butterflies from the fourth plain paper.
Attach to the digital image, adding a small pearl bead to the centres.

Layer four:
Using the third plain paper, cut a matt layer for the sentiment.
Matt and layer together and attach to the side of layer three.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
