Today’s handmade card has been created for inspiration on the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Monthly Challenge Blog.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Spring.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 7″ White Card Base
Ching-Chou Kuik‘s Digital Stamp Called Spring
Chameleon Pens
The Crafty Witches Fairytale Stories Digital Download Collection
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image onto white card.
Print one plain paper and one sentiment sheet.

Layer one:
Cut a square from the plain paper measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Colour in the digital image Spring, I used chameleon pens.

Bird : BL3, VO4, YL2, BG4.
Flowers / Foliage : GR4, OL3, GR2, RD5, OR3, BV4, BR1, RD4.

Cut the image to measure 15 cms by 12 cms.
Cut a piece from the plain paper measuring 15.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
Cut one sentiment from the sheet and attach to the card base.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.

I have made this card clean and simple as I felt the image and the colours I had used did not need any papers to make the image standout.
