Today’s handmade card has been created using a digi image design from Craftsuprint called Unicorn Digital Stamp (ref cup1058346_88163) by Lauren C. Waterworth.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card
Unicorn Digi Stamp
Chameleon Pens
The Paper Boutique Lovely Lattice – Sentiments Volume XV Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Perfect Posies – Daisy Flower Die Collection
Black Card
White Card
Purple Card
Black Gem
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the Unicorn digi image twice.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from purple card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Colour in the Unicorn digi image, I have used Chameleon pens.

Unicorn 1:
Body: NU0, PK3
Tail/Mane: VO4 mixed with colour top BV2
Hoofs: WG3
Horn: YO3

Unicorn 2:
Body: NG4, PK3
Tail/Mane: PK4 mixed with colour top VO2
Hoofs: WG3
Horn: YO3

Cut the Unicorn digi images to measure 10 cms by 10 cms.
Cut two squares from black card measuring 10.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer each black square to the Unicorn digi image.
Attach to the card base, one on the top left corner and one on the bottom right corner.

Layer three:
Using the flower die set, cut two leaves from black card.
Attach to the centre of the card slightly over lapping both digi images.
Then using the flower die set, cut the second flower die from black and purple card.
Cut the third flower die from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the centre of the leaves.
Add a black gem to the centre of the flower.

Layer four:
Using the sentiment dies, choose two sentiments.
Cut the matt dies from black card.
Cut the sentiments from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base, one on the top right and one on the bottom left.

Layer five:
Cut a square from black card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
