Pressie Time – Lets Celebrate Christmas

Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge #76.

For my Design Team card I have used one of SheepSki Designs digital images called Pressie Time.

The theme for the challenge is Celebrations.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 7″ White Card Base
SheepSki Designs Digital Stamp Called Pressie Time
Promarkers
Christmas Decorative Papers
The Paper Boutique Essential Nesting Dies – Volume V
White Card
Red Card
Silver Glitter Glue
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Pressie Time on to white card twice.
Choose two patterned papers.

Layer one:
Cut a square from red card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Cut a square from the first patterned paper measuring 15.5 cms by 15.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Using two different sized dies, cut the largest die from red card and the smaller die from the second patterned paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Pressie Time. I used promarker pens.
First image colour in the presents.

Presents : Pear green, olive green, holly, pine, emerald, crimson, red, carmine, antique pink, honey comb, amber, blush, champagne, lemon, primrose, herb green leaf green.

Second image colour in the bear and present.

Bear : Burnt umber, burnt sienna, saddle brown, cinnamon, antique pink, cocktail pink, carmine.
Hat : Crimson, firebrick, red, cool grey 1, silver glitter glue.
Present : Pear green, olive green, holly, pine.

Using two different sized dies, cut the largest one from red card.
Then using the smaller die cut out the image.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Using word (or a similar program) type out a sentiment.
Then using red card, cut matt layers for the sentiment.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
